Celebrations and family events have been extremely challenging in 2020. However, this family was determined to commemorate this hard-earned, long haul coming-of-age ritual marking a 13-year-old’s assumption of religious and legal obligations under Jewish law. Shoutout to my associate/colleague/friend Elizabeth Christensen, for covering this event for me when I got stuck in a snowstorm in Idaho. I love that our little work from home hustle mom women photography community is so supportive of one another.
