Another successful Class of 2026 senior portrait session in the books—and this one felt especially meaningful, since I’ve known Lilah since she was born. We both arrived straight from practice (different practices!) and headed right into an evening of shooting, which felt so fitting for this busy senior season.
We began “up top,” where the late-afternoon sun was bright but softened beautifully through her hair, creating some luminous frames. Lilah brought a few outfit changes and managed those transitions seamlessly—even in the middle of nature. By the time we made it down to the beach, the sun was just setting. Though it was later than we’d planned, the timing gave us an opportunity to capture some candid, authentic portraits against a glowing sky. Her mom and sister met us there afterward, saving us the trek back uphill.
Throughout the session, Lilah carried herself with calm confidence—already a seasoned pro. A student-athlete at the highly competitive Seattle Prep and a state champion in lacrosse, she brings both grit and grace to everything she does. I was truly honored she chose me to capture this milestone, and I loved photographing her vibrant spirit in such a stunning setting.
